Will my credit score be impacted if I view my eligibility for the loan?

We perform a soft credit inquiry when you check your loan options through Wallet Wizard. This step allows you to check the rates that may be available to you. That inquiry will not affect your credit score at all, and will only be visible to you on your report; not to others.

However, if you choose to continue with the application, a hard credit inquiry will be performed. Hard inquiries can affect your credit score and are visible to third parties reviewing your credit report.

What is a Credit Limit?

A credit limit is the maximum level of credit we agree to make available to you under a contract with us. This amount is based on our assessment of your situation and income. We will offer a credit limit that is right for you.

What is my available credit?

Available credit is the difference between your credit limit and your current account balance. Your current account balance is the amount owing to Wallet Wizard. 

Why can’t I access my available credit?

You don’t always have immediate access to your available credit. This may be because:

  • The amount you have requested is less than the Minimum Redraw Request Amount (this is the lower of $500 or 25% of your credit limit)
  • You have made a repayment recently and the funds have not yet cleared.
  • There has been a material change in your financial circumstances.
  • You may be experiencing financial hardship.

How can I access my available credit?

You can log in to the Wallet Wizard Members’ Area any time to see if you’re eligible to apply to access your available credit. Once you’re eligible, all you have to do is submit a redraw application via the instructions in the Members’ Area. It’s super-fast and easy!

How much does it cost?

There are no nasty surprises. Everything is laid out in your Loan Agreement so you’ll always know exactly what to expect. Our APR is 35.99%.

A $10 NSF fee may apply if a payment has failed due to insufficient funds on your account or card.

If paying with a debit card, please be aware that Wallet Wizard does not charge any fees for debit card payments.

How do I know my repayment amount?

Your minimum repayment amount is determined by your approved credit limit. You can look at example repayments on the Cost page to see what you can expect to repay weekly, bi-weekly or monthly based on the loan amount you select.

Once your loan is approved and accepted, you can see the upcoming repayments on your Members Area.

Payment reminders are also sent to the listed contact details.

How do I make repayments?

You don’t need to worry about a thing. We’ll set-up automatic repayments either every week, every two weeks or every month by direct debit that coincide with your pay cycle. The money will either come out of your nominated debit card or bank account on the day that repayments are due.

What is our APR/Interest Rate?

Wallet Wizard does not have any penalties for early payments, unlike some lending platforms in the marketplace today. At Wallet Wizard, we want you to have the flexibility to borrow money when you need it and pay it back when you don't.

Can I make loan payments with my debit card?

Yes you can! This is why we allow you to add your debit card details as part of the application.

When will I get the money?

We know this loan is important to you, so we work hard to get it to you quickly. Wallet Wizard process the funds on the same day the loan agreement is accepted. If the ACH disbursement was processed before 12:30PM EST time*, most often you would receive the funds the same day. Loan Agreements accepted after this cut off time are typically processed the following business day (depending on the financial institution).*

*Funds are generally deposited via ACH for same day funding if accepted before 12:30PM EST Monday-Friday.

Do all bank accounts receive the money in the same amount of time?

No. We don't want to bore you with banking procedures (who has time for that?) but each bank processes our request differently.

What am I responsible for?

Just be upfront and honest, keep us up-to-date about your situation and income, and make sure there’s enough money in your account when repayments are due. All of the terms and conditions of your Line of Credit are set out for you to read before you sign your Loan Agreement. You should be sure you understand your responsibilities before you accept. When can I request more cash?

Once you have a Line of Credit, you may be eligible to access available credit once it reaches the lower of $500 or 25% of your Credit Limit. You might also be eligible to apply to increase your credit limit. Login to the Wallet Wizard Members’ Area to see if these options are available to you.

Why has my request to increase my credit limit not been approved?

We are a responsible lender. Every request for more cash requires us to consider your capacity to pay. Your request to access your available credit may have been denied if we believe your circumstances have changed or you may be experiencing hardship. What if I have no outstanding balance?

Having a Line of Credit means that unless you request to close your Loan Account, you can continue to request access to your available credit when you need it*. Having the account remain open with a $0 balance does not incur any additional costs to keep the account facility open.

Can I add an authorized user to my loan account?

If you would like to authorize a third party to speak on your behalf, receive information about your loan and help you manage your loan, feel free to give us a call on 213 833 3050. You may add one authorized user on your loan at a time, and we must receive verbal authorization from you, the customer, over the telephone. During this process, you will be asked to provide the full name, date of birth, and relationship you have with the individual you would like to authorize.

Please note, the authorized user must be over the age of 18, and the authorization will cease when the loan is paid off in full or when notify us to remove authorization.
